Marie hopes that each individual she works with will find tranquility, relaxation and rejuvenation in everyday life.
Marie received her massage license and certification through the Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing Board, The School of Shiatsu and Massage in Middletown, California in 1995. Later she went on to
receive her professional certifications in Cranial Sacral Therapy and Ayurvedic Healing.
Prior to completing her massage certification in 1995, Marie graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Human Development/Psychology and a minor in Theatre from the University of California, Riverside. Later she was a teacher for Kindergarten, 1st and 5th grades as part of completing her Professional California Teaching Credential at Saint Mary‚s College in Moraga, California.
Following the receipt of her massage certification in 1995, Marie began her Massage Studio and Mobile Day Spa practices. Her studio provides a warm, peaceful, and relaxing atmosphere while her Mobile Day Spa provides accommodations to those who can't get away from their home or office or who want to throw a massage/spa party.
Additionally Marie has spent over five years working with numerous corporate businesses co-coordinating on-site chair massage and stress management workshops and traveling abroad, bringing her massage techniques and teachings to cruise ships and various vacation
destinations.
Marie continues to attend advanced training courses to continuously improve her techniques and skills. Then she takes on the role of educator, presenting seminars on topics such as Relieving Your Headaches, Hand Wrist Tensions, Stress Management, Infant, Individual and Couples Massage.
In spite of her very demanding schedule, Marie, the San Francisco Bay massage
therapist manages to find the time and energy to bestow on society by donating her work to various organizations, including school fund raising events, teacher appreciation days and the American Cancer Society.
